Starting work on a new SHPP at Giannitsi by NANKO

NANΚO RENEWABLES, continuing its successful path in Renewable Energy, announces that its subsidiary company “NATEGIA SA” is going to initiate the construction of the SHPP Giannitsi, with a power ratio of 1.35 MW, in the Municipality of Central Tzoumerka, located in the Regional Unit of Arta.

The new station is estimated to produce energy amounting to 4,300,000 KWh (4.30 GWh) annually.

A unit with a PELTON type turbine, horizontal axis with two nozzles, will be installed in the Hydro Electric Energy building, while the budget of the project amounts to approximately 2.500.000 €.

The construction of the project is expected to last fifteen (15) months.

Having, already, six (6) Small Hydroelectric Projects (SHP) in operation and with great experience since 1999, it is admitted once again that NANKO is an important investor in the utilization of green energy and still continues to develop dynamically.
